Pre-Anesthesia Examination Requirement
The safety of your pet is our top priority. All animals must have a current physical examination on file before undergoing any procedure that requires anesthesia. This allows our veterinarians to assess your pet's overall health, identify any potential risks, and determine the safest anesthesia protocol for your animal.
If your pet has not been seen recently, an exam will need to be scheduled prior to the procedure date.
Bloodwork Requirement for Senior Pets
- Identifies underlying conditions not visible during a physical exam
- Assesses kidney and liver function prior to anesthesia
- Helps our team select the safest anesthesia protocol for your pet
- Supports a smoother recovery post-procedure
